Un hybride d'origine horticole (non une espèce sauvage) traité comme une plante vivace de courte durée et conduit en annuelle ou bisannuelle de saison fraîche — il fleurit le plus abondamment au printemps et à l'automne et succombe inévitablement à la chaleur estivale.
