Lilium (Asiatic hybrid)
Les hybrides asiatiques sont les lis les plus faciles à cultiver et parmi les premiers à fleurir — des tiges rigides, non ramifiées, de 3-4 feet portent de grandes fleurs orientées principalement vers le haut et vers l'extérieur, larges de 4-6 inches, disponibles dans presque toutes les couleurs sauf le bleu, souvent avec des taches sombres à la base. Les fleurs sont spectaculaires et excellentes à couper mais, contrairement à la plupart des autres groupes de lis, elles sont généralement sans parfum ou presque. Toutes les parties de la plante sont dangereusement toxiques pour les chats.
