Achillea filipendulina
Una perenne alta, amante del sol y tolerante a la sequia, de la familia de las margaritas, cultivada por sus amplios corimbos planos de diminutas flores amarillo dorado sostenidos sobre tallos rigidos por encima de un follaje aromatico, finamente dividido y verde grisaceo, parecido a un helecho. Nativa del Caucaso, Iran y Afganistan y desde hace mucho naturalizada en jardines de todo el mundo, forma una mata erguida y ordenada (en lugar de extenderse como la milenrama comun) y es una de las plantas polinizadoras y de flor de corte mas fiables y de bajo cuidado para canteros calurosos, secos y a pleno sol.
